Gear Menu Overview

Gear can be found in Chests and is sometimes awarded for completing Quests. Equipping and honing Gear is one of the main ways to improve your Hero's stats and customize them. Gear can also give your Hero additional Attributes in battles.

Currently Equipped Gear

The left side of the screen shows your currently equipped Gear.

If a green plus on the Gear slot means you have enough resources to upgrade the piece you have equipped.

You can view the stats of an equipped piece of Gear by tapping on it.

Note: If you're wanting to unequip an item your hero is using, simply select the item and press the 'Unequip' bottom located on the bottom right-hand corner of the equipment your hero is using. 

Loadouts

You can save different builds of Spells to each Loadout, this allows you to quickly change all your Gear at once. To view or change each Loadout, tap on the Loadout dropdown and select which you would like to edit.

To help remember which loadout is which, you can click on the inkwell icon to rename them as well.

Gear Sets

To the right of your Hero, you can view any Gear sets you currently can receive bonuses for. 

For example, I currently have two of the potential 6 pieces of Gear equipped from the Elven Set. The currently equipped pieces have a red background matching their rarity, and the pieces I am missing to complete the set are in grey. 

Note: The effectiveness of each bonus is based on the lowest rarity in the set.

Gear Vault

A list of all the Weapons and Gear you own.

You can quickly view your collection of Gear here as well as upgrade any upgradable pieces. Your Gear Vault has a limited capacity. It is possible to overflow your Gear Vault, but until you Salvage down to the maximum capacity or below it, you won't be able to start a new Battle or use any Loot Tickets.

Don’t forget to clear some space so you can return to battle!

Hero Stats

Using the small left and right arrows, you can cycle through your Hero's various stats, such as the Element Masteries, Defense stats, and Primary stats. Which includes your Damage, Armor, Resistance, and Block information.
This can be viewed in either the Spells or Gear menus. 

Gear Details

You can see a Gear's stats in detail by selecting the piece of Gear you want to look at,

This screen shows the following Gear details:

1. Element
2. Name
3. Rarity
4. Quality score - tap through to view more information
5. Favourite icon and Gear set icon
6. Honing - tap through to access the Honing upgrade screen. For more information on Honing, click here.
7. Attribute bonuses
8. Gear item ability, Gear set information and flavour text

Gear Filter

After opening the Gear Vault or selecting a Gear Slot, you will see a list of your Gear and the Gear Filters will become available.

You can filter by upgrade level, name, element, gear slot, gear set and upgradable. You can also search directly by typing into the search bar.
