In the Spell menu, you can see your Spell descriptions, upgrade Spells, change which slot each spell is equipped to, and change which spells you have equipped.
You can find the Spell menu by selecting the Hero Menu and then selecting Spells.
The right side of the screen shows (From top to bottom):
- Ultimate and currently Equipped Spells
- Spell Sets
- Hero Stats
- Spell Loadouts
- Spell Vault
Ultimate and currently Equipped Spells
The left side of the screen shows your Ultimate Spell as well as your currently equipped Spells.
If a small green arrow on the Spell slot means you have enough resources to upgrade the Spell you have equipped.
If you're wanting to unequip a spell your Hero is using, simply select the spell and press the 'Unequip' bottom located on the bottom right-hand corner of the spell. You can find more information on Equipping or Changing spells here.
Note: More than one Spell of the same type can not be equipped on the same Loadout.
Spell Sets
Bonuses are awarded for having multiple Spells of the same Element equipped. In the example below, you can see currently my Hero has 2 Ice Spells equipped out of the possible 4. Each increased the Mastery in that element.
Hero Stats
Using the small left and right arrows, you can cycle through your Hero's various stats, such as the Element Masteries, Defense stats, and Primary stats. Which includes your Damage, Armor, Resistance, and Block information.
This can be viewed in either the Spells or Gear menus.
Spell Loadouts
You can save different builds of Spells to each Loadout, this allows you to quickly change all your Spells at once. To view or change each Loadout, tap on the Loadout dropdown and select which you would like to edit.
To help remember which loadout is which, you can click on the inkwell icon to rename them as well.
Spell Vault
This is a list of all the Spells you have unlocked, across all Heros.
You can quickly view your collection of Spells here as well as upgrade any upgradable Spells.
Your Spell Vault has a limited capacity. It is possible to overflow your Spell Vault, but until you Salvage down to the maximum capacity or below it, you won't be able to start a new Battle or use any Loot Tickets.
Don’t forget to clear some space so you can return to battle!
Note: You cannot change the Spells you have equipped from the Spell Vault, you need to select the Spell slot you want to change from the main Spell overview screen.
Spell Details
You can see a Spell's details by selecting the Spell you want to look at.
The details shown are:
- The Spell name
- Level
- Element
- Spell Rarity
- Mana cost - the color the cost is written in is the element color of the Gems you need to match to power up the Spell. Grey text means any Gems can be matched.
- The Spell description
- If the Spell is a Class-Specific Spell
- Favorite the selected Spell from here by selecting the heart icon so that you won't accidentally Salvage it.

Class Spells
Each Hero Class has its own Class-specific Spells, meaning they can only be equipped to the Class they belong to.
This can be checked by selecting going to the Hero Screen > Spell Vault > Then select any Spell
The Hero Class that Spell belongs to will be written above the Salvage button.
Or you can find the matching Hero Class icon on the Spell image. This article includes a full list of Hero Classes and their Spell icons.
Alternatively, there are also selected spells that can be equipped to any Hero Class.
Spell Filter
After opening the Spell Vault or selecting a Spell Slot, you will see a list of your Spells and the Spell Filters will become available.
You can quickly change which Spell slot you're looking at by selecting the "Spell slot" button above the Spell list. This is not available if you are viewing your Spells in your Spell Vault.
You can also filter by Spell name, Spell Level, Element and Upgradeable only
